Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 June 2026
1. The service
Tutorsheet provides timesheet and payroll tools for tutoring organisations at tutorsheet.com.au. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when registering.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- Each admin account is a separate subscription. You may invite approvers and users under your account.
3. Subscription and billing
- New accounts begin with a free trial period.
- After the trial, a paid subscription is required to create or edit entries.
- Subscriptions are billed via Stripe. You may cancel at any time from the Billing page; access continues until the end of the current period.
- Prices are in Australian dollars and may include GST where applicable.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to access another organisation's data.
- Reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the service.
5. Invoices and RCTI
Tutorsheet provides tools to generate invoice and Recipient Created Tax Invoice (RCTI) PDF documents as a convenience. You are solely responsible for ensuring that:
- All ABN, rate, and financial details entered are accurate and current.
- RCTI generation is only enabled where the user (contractor) has given their consent via the RCTI Agreement toggle in their invoice details.
- Your use of the RCTI feature complies with ATO requirements, including that both parties are GST-registered at the time of issue.
- Generated documents are reviewed before use — Tutorsheet is not a registered tax agent and does not provide tax advice.
- When a user (employee role) generates their own invoice, it is issued as a standard tax invoice, not an RCTI.
6. Your data
You own your data. We process it solely to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime or data loss beyond our reasonable control.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Tutorsheet is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of NSW courts.
